Danube Swabian working group

The Donauschwäbische Arbeitsgemeinschaft (DAG) is the association of the Austrian Landsmannschaften of the Danube Swabians . The working group is a member of the Association of Volksdeutsche Landsmannschaften Austria (VLÖ). The chairman of the DAG and federal chairman of the VLÖ is Rudolf Reimann. The DAG is based in the “House of Home” operated by the VLÖ in Vienna .

The DAG sees its tasks in the "representation of the Danube Swabians living in Austria vis-à-vis all state and international authorities" , the "maintenance and preservation of folk and customs from the traditional home countries of the Danube Swabians" as well as the "ideal and material promotion and support of the own youth associations ” , whereby the activity is not geared towards profit.
