Dong (Panzhihua)

The district of Dong ( Chinese  东区 , Pinyin Dōng Qū  - "East") is a district in the south of the southwest Chinese province of Sichuan . It belongs to the administrative area of ​​the prefecture city of Panzhihua . Dong has an area of ​​167 km² and has a population of around 320,000 (2004). It is the center and seat of the city government.
