Dongduk Women's University is a private university in Seoul , South Korea . It has around 6,200 students and employs around 170 professors.

history

The school opened in 1950 as Dongduk Women's College (동덕 여자 대학), a four-year curriculum school . In 1967 it was moved to its present location. The college got permission to open a graduate school in 1980 and got university status in 1987. The last academic reorganization was carried out in 2003.
