Dongsi mosque

The Dongsi Mosque ( Chinese  东 四 清真寺 , Pinyin Dongsi qingzhensi , English Dongsi Mosque ) in the Beijing district of Dongcheng is the oldest mosque in Beijing. It was built in 1356 during the Yuan Dynasty or in 1447 during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Its architecture combines Chinese and Arabic elements. It is the seat of the Beijing Islamic Association . It has been on the Beijing City Monuments List since 1984 .
