The doping agent concentration decree (DM MV) determined in Germany which is not small amount of known doping substances whose manufacture, trade, acquisition and possession for doping purposes in humans according to § 2, paragraph 3 of the Anti-Doping Act (AntiDopG) is prohibited. Violations of this regulation can be punished with up to 10 years imprisonment according to § 4 AntiDopG . A problem here is the very different amount that is available in the individual sports disciplines, e.g. B. is used with anabolic steroids , and is therefore considered personal use : An endurance athlete would use the therapeutic amount (medical dose recommendation e.g. against muscle atrophy after lack of exercise), but a weight lifter would use about fifty times that. Furthermore, the DmMV does not apply to new or rare drugs that have not previously been banned by law. Substances that are prohibited in competition but not in training (e.g. socially acceptable drugs) are currently not recorded.
