The double house Coschützer street 54/56 (Plaut House) is a listed Art Nouveau building in Dresden district of Plauen , which in 1902 by Schilling & Graebner for Dresdner savings and Building Association was built. This house was inaugurated on September 29, 1902 under the name Plaut-Haus. In “grateful memory”, the aim was to remember the founder Jacob Plaut , from whose estate the Dresdner Spar- und Bauverein received a capital of 30,000 marks and used it to build the house.

The two-story building with an extended attic is symmetrical. The facade shows a pilaster architecture , two side elevations and in the middle. The central projection extends over three axes and shows a triangular gable at the top . The facade has been decorated with a "wave plaster ". In the reserves there is a floral ornamentation with “few hints”. The design of the facade decoration was guided by the principle of "practicality and economy".
