The Doppler Group (its own spelling: DOPPLER Group ) is the largest private petrol station operator in Austria with almost 200 petrol stations. The filling stations are operated under the brands Turmöl , Turmöl quick , BP and Shell . In addition to the classic trade in fuel products, the group is also active in the real estate business.
history
The company was founded in 1932 by Franz Doppler in Wels and has been represented in Austria with its own petrol station network since 1945. The petrol stations first appeared under the Aral brand , followed by a brand change to Shell in 1967. From 1980 the Esso brand was used. In the course of restructuring and numerous acquisitions, BP began to rely more and more from 2001 onwards. In 2003 the Turmöl brand was taken over and positioned in the discount segment. In 2011 Doppler operated 197 filling stations under the brands BP, Turmöl, Turmöl quick and Shell.
Products
Diesel and premium gasoline (95 octane ) are generally offered at the Doppler Group's petrol stations . Depending on the location and brand of the filling station, Super plus (98 octane), normal gasoline , bio-diesel and premium products such as Ultimate Diesel, Ultimate Super (BP) and V-Power (Shell) are also sold.
