The Roman Catholic Chapel of St. Anna is located in Betzisried , a district of Ottobeuren in the Unterallgäu district in Bavaria . The chapel is a listed building.

Building description

The chapel was built in the 19th century. The chancel with a three-sided end connects to the community room. The community room has two window axes. The east-facing chapel has a tower with a tent roof attached to the west side .

Furnishing

The winged altar of the chapel was built around 1510/1520. There are three wooden figures on the predella . These depict St. Sebastian, Anna Selbdritt and St. Rochus. The inside of the wings of the altar show reliefs of St. Vitus and St. Wendelin, while St. Bartholomew and St. Helena are depicted on the outside. The antependium is gilded and pierced with acanthus carving .
