Village farmers (Delbrück)
Until 1964, the village farmers were an independent community in the Paderborn district in North Rhine-Westphalia . The community surrounded the town center of Delbrück in the shape of a collar , was predominantly agricultural and did not have its own town center. Since 1964 the area of the former municipality belongs to the city of Delbrück.
history
During the Napoleonic era , the village farmers were a municipality in the canton of Delbrück in the Paderborn district in the Kingdom of Westphalia . From 1816 the community belonged to the Paderborn district in the Prussian province of Westphalia . Within the Paderborn district, it initially belonged to the Delbrück mayor and from 1844 to the Delbrück office . On August 1, 1964, the village farmers' community, whose area covered 16.27 km², was incorporated into the then city of Delbrück. The place name village farmers is no longer in use today.
