The Protestant village church Moßbach is located in the municipality Moßbach in the Saale-Orla district in Thuringia .
history
The Protestant church in Moßbach was built on the walls of its predecessor from the Middle Ages . The masonry on the east side of the church has been preserved from this period. The current church was built in 1747 and rebuilt in 1793. In 1894 the church building was restored and the facade was given an external plaster.
After 2007, security and renovation measures were carried out on the church tower and nave roof structure with funds from the monument protection and the facade was again given an external plaster .
