Oberloquitz village church
The Oberloquitz village church is located in the Oberloquitz district in the Probstzella community in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district in Thuringia .

The village is on the federal highway 85 north of the town of Probstzella in the Loquitz valley . The church and the rectory are in the middle of the village.
history
In 1661, after a fire, the church was built on the Romanesque wall of a chapel . She received a ridge turret with a tail dome. The late Gothic winged altar with figures and shrine and panel painting on the wings was made in 1480 as a piece of jewelry.
The ceiling painting and the galleries were incorporated in 1731. The bells from the 17th and 18th centuries were made by local bell-makers.
