Village church in Roddan

The Protestant village church in Roddan , a district of the Legde / Quitzöbel community in the Prignitz district in Brandenburg , was built in 1680 in place of a previous medieval building that was destroyed in the Thirty Years War . The church on Dorfstrasse is a protected architectural monument .

The narrow, drawn-in half-timbered tower with tower top and Welscher hood was placed in front of the building at the beginning of the 20th century. The tower was repaired in 1994, the nave in 1998 and the west gallery in 2005 .

Furnishing

The architectural floral ceiling painting on the wooden beams was revised in 1938.

The richly carved altarpiece was probably created in 1712 by Heinrich Joachim Schultz from Havelberg .
