Doris Frick

Doris Frick (born November 28, 1963 in Schaan ) is a Liechtenstein diplomat . The economist has been the ambassador of the Principality of Liechtenstein in Switzerland since 2013 .

career

After a doctorate and an assistantship at the University of St. Gallen , Frick joined the diplomatic service in her home country in 1993. She worked as a diplomatic assistant at the Office for Foreign Affairs in Vaduz . In 1995 she became Deputy Permanent Representative to the Liechtenstein Mission to the United Nations , the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the EFTA in Geneva - based in Vaduz. In 1997, Frick moved to Bern in the same position , where she also acted as the ambassador's deputy.

As the successor to Hubert Büchel , Doris Frick was accredited as extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Principality of Liechtenstein on March 26, 2013 . Her deputy is currently the Minister Christine Lingg (as of July 2019).

Private life

Doris Frick is married and has two children. Her husband is from Valais and builds raclette ovens for cheese halves .
