Doris Mundus

Doris Mundus (* 1951 ) is a German historian, librarian, author and curator. Most recently she was deputy director of the Leipzig City History Museum .

Career

She studied library science and history at the Humboldt University in Berlin (Dipl.-phil.). In 1977 she became a librarian and research assistant at the Leipzig City History Museum. She worked as a curator and was deputy director from 1999 to 2012. Mundus mainly published on Saxon cultural and regional history of the 19th century.
