Dorle Schwieger (born in the 20th century ) is a former German hockey player .

Career

Dorle Schwieger comes from the Hanseatic City of Hamburg . Since she was interested in hockey from a young age, she became a member of the Harvestehuder THC , which was one of the most successful hockey clubs in the Federal Republic of Germany in the 1950s and 1960s. Schwieger soon became a regular player in the first team of the women's group of Harvestehuder THC and was twice German champion in field hockey (1960 and 1962) with her team. She played seven international matches from 1960 to 1962.

On March 3, 1962, Federal President Heinrich Lübke drew several current and former German national hockey team players, in addition to z. B. Greta Feurich , Gisela Dreesmann and Verena Sudek also awarded Dorle Schwieger with the silver bay leaf .
