Dorothea Rohde

Dorothea Rohde (born October 12, 1974 in Offenbach am Main ) is a German ancient historian .

Life

Dorothea Rohde studied Ancient History, Greek Philology and Philosophy in Bonn, Rome and Münster from 1994 to 2002. This was followed by research stays in Rome, Münster and London. From the summer semester 2005, taught and researched it as a research associate of Helmuth Schneider at the University of Kassel , where they face a thesis on the integration of 2,008 collegia in Roman port cities ( Ostia , Ephesus and Perinthos ) doctorate was.

She then moved to Bielefeld University , where she initially worked as a research assistant before she was appointed to the university staff in 2013 . Rohde's main research interests are the Greek and Roman social and economic history, the ancient city and ancient religious history including early Christianity.
