Douglas Johansson

Sten Gunnar Douglas Johansson (born January 31, 1960 in Solna , Sweden ) is a Swedish actor .

Life

After graduating from school, he began an acting training from 1977 to 1979 at the Swedish theater school Calle Flygare Teaterskola in Stockholm. In order to develop his dancing talent, he then went to the Stockholm Ballet Academy from 1978 to 1983 and also took various courses at the Herman Howell Dance Studio in Stockholm from 1979 to 1983 . From 1984 to 1987 he was at the Stockholm Theater School (Teaterhögskolan i Stockholm) . Johanson made his first film and television debut in 1988 with the Swedish television series Xerxes . From 1990 he worked regularly as an actor in many Swedish films and television productions . Johansson has so far played his best-known role in the Swedish film series Mankells Wallander as policeman Jan Martinsson .
