Verdict Revised is a Swedish crime series that premiered on September 24, 2008 on Swedish TV4 . The protagonist is the controversial law professor Markus Haglund, who campaigns for the release of prisoners whom he considers innocent. The series had its German-language premiere on July 18, 2011 on ZDFneo .

The criminal law professor Markus Haglund was a successful lawyer ten years ago with a reputation for winning even hopeless cases. However, after a client acquitted by him raped and killed a young mother and her daughter, he withdrew into alcohol, affairs and self-pity. This behavior now almost costs him his job. So that he does not lose him and his house, he has to teach again. With the four young students Anna, Fia, Belal and Roger, he now takes on the defense of possibly wrongly convicted criminals.
