Sofia Marianne Ledarp (born April 8, 1974 in Hägersten , Stockholm ) is a Swedish actress .
life and career
Sofia Ledarp studied for four years at the theater academy in Luleå , which she successfully graduated in 2000. She then embarked on a career as a theater actress. She has appeared at the Stockholm Boulevard Theater , Orion Theater, the City Theater and the Royal Dramatic Theater , where she has appeared in classic productions such as Schiller's Maria Stuart (2000) and August Strindberg's Master Olof (2007), as well as contemporary Swedish fabrics such as Jösses flickor, återkomsten (2006) acted.
Parallel to her work at the theater, Ledarp took on roles in Swedish television productions from 2004. In 2006 she made her cinema debut with a supporting role in the tragic comedy Varannan Vecka (2006). Her breakthrough as an actress came in 2007 with her first leading role in Åke Sandgren's Who You Love . In the drama, she can be seen as the young partner of Rolf Lassgård , who feels drawn to her formerly violent ex-husband (played by Jonas Karlsson ), whom she reported to the police years earlier. The role of the fragile and self-destructive Lena brought Ledarp the actor's award at the Copenhagen International Film Festival and the Cinéma Tout Ecran Festival in Geneva in 2007 . In 2008 she won the most important Swedish film award for best actress , the Guldbagge , for her second film role . In the same year she received the renowned Kurt Linder Scholarship, which is awarded to filmmakers under the age of 35. Previously known scholarship holders include Roy Andersson , Lasse Hallström , Lukas Moodysson and Helena Bergström .
After the success of Who One Loves , Ledarp was part of the cast of the football television series Häxdansen and the multi-part TV series Oskyldigt dömd in 2008 , in which she appeared alongside well-known actors such as Maria Langhammer , Livia Millhagen , Mikael Persbrandt and Helena af Sandeberg . In 2009, she took on the recurring role of journalist Malin Erikson in the film adaptations of Stieg Larsson's detective novels Delusion , Damnation and Forgiveness with Michael Nyqvist and Noomi Rapace . In 2011 she played the lead female role in the Swedish thriller Försvunnen .
