In the documentary series Dr. G - Profession: Coroner tells Dr. Jan Carla Garavaglia, called Dr. G., from their daily lives as a medical examiner in Orange County (Florida) and reports the most unusual cases in their work as a coroner .

The individual case described always begins with the arrival of the victim in the pathology department and the display of the name, age of the deceased and the case number. The cases are represented by actors, reenactments of the (unfortunate) case, the autopsy , by Dr. G. and stories from police officers and paramedics explained to the audience.
