The Schleusberg town hall

The Dr. Uwe Harder Stadthalle , until 2017 Stadthalle Neumünster is a building from 1986 and was awarded a prize in 1988 by the Association of German Architects.

The cultural center located on Kleinflecken houses a large ballroom (560 m², 800 people), three conference rooms and a theater hall for 576 people. The town hall is connected to the Neumünster Cloth and Technology Textile Museum via a pedestrian bridge .

The large ballroom is used for disco events such as 1980s parties and smaller trade fair events. Since the city of Neumünster does not have its own theater ensemble, guest performances by various ensembles or events from local schools take place in the theater hall.

A restaurant is also integrated into the complex, which is also open to visitors outside of event times. Like the Holstenhallen, the town hall is managed by Hallenbetriebe Neumünster GmbH . In February 2017 it was renamed in honor of the late Lord Mayor Uwe Harder .
