Stemmern (desert)

Stemmern was a place in today's area of ​​the city of Magdeburg .

The village was located west of Klein Ottersleben , south on the road to Hohendodeleben . Today the Hängelsberge garbage dump is located on the site . In the 14th century, the village, like the Niendorf further east , became a desert . The field corridor essentially came to Klein Ottersleben.

The name of the street Stemmerner Straße in Ottersleben still reminds of the existence of the place .
