Dragon Gate School

The Dragon Gate Taoism ( Chinese  龍門派  /  龙门派 , Pinyin Longmen pai , english The Dragon Gate Sect ) is a school of Quanzhen - Taoism , one of the four major schools of Daoism . It was founded by Qiu Chuji ( 丘處機  /  丘处机 ), who is also known under the name Changchunzi 長春 子 or Changchun 長春. It is named after the Longmen Grotto ( 龍 門洞  /  龙 门洞 , English Dragon Gate Cave ) in Long County in the Chinese province of Shaanxi .

One of her most important texts is the secret of the golden flower ( 太 一 金華 宗旨  /  太 一 金华 宗旨 , Taiyi jinhua zongzhi , English The Secret of the Golden Flower ), a work ascribed to Lü Dongbin .
