Qingtan

Qingtan ( Chinese  清談  /  清谈 , W.-G. Ch'ing-t'an , English Pure Conversation  - "Pure conversation"), even Qingyan ( 清言 called) was a Daoist flow at the time of WEI and Jin - Dynasties (220–420) of the Northern Dynasties . The most prominent of these groups, which focused on the teachings of philosophical Daoism - especially the (legendary) Laozi (Daodejing) and Zhuangzi - were the Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove . The Qingtan representatives include He Yan何晏, Wang Bi王弼, Xiahou Xuan夏侯玄, Wang Yan王衍 and Guo Xiang郭象.
