Dracunculus ( Latin dracunculus little snake, diminutive of draco dragon) is a genus of roundworms (nematodes), the species of which occur as parasites in the tissues and body cavities of reptiles and mammals, including humans.

The plant genus Dracunculus in the arum family has the same name .
