After Dragseth appeared as a quartet from 2009, it is now a trio consisting of the founding members Manuel Knortz and Kalle Johannsen as well as Jens Jesse. The group offers its own compositions in Low and High German, but also focuses on literary settings and folk songs of Anglo-American tradition.

Dragseth usually publishes sound recordings in-house. The band also works with other artists for stage programs or record productions, including in 2006 as a duo with Frank Bossert's Eureka . In 2017 the musicians published the literary-musical evening Der Schimmelreiter (speaker: Hans-Peter Bögel ), set up for a double CD.

Honors

In 1990 the then Dragseth Duo was awarded the Bad Bevensen Prize . In 2008 it received the Hans Momsen Prize .
