Twist

Twist (technical term from the Low German drillen for "turn" or "turn around") stands for:

• the physical quantity angular momentum
• Twist (weapon) , twisting of the barrel of firearms and the resulting self-rotation of projectiles
• Twist (shaft) , surface property of a rotating shaft similar to the roughness , which is decisive for the tightness of the shaft sealing ring .
