Three-Heister Chapel
The three-Heister chapel stands in the district Neuwerk in Mönchengladbach ( Nordrhein-Westfalen ), Krefelderstraße 371st
The building was constructed in the second half of the 19th century. It was entered under No. K 035 on June 2, 1987 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .
architecture
The Dreiheister Chapel (hornbeam chapel) dates from the second half of the 19th century. The venerated patrons are St. Cosmos and Damian, Johannes and the helper in need Vitus.
The chapel , which is free-standing on all sides, is underpinned by a circumferential dirt base. The front side shows a high rectangular entrance with a window on the right , which should allow a view into the interior even when the door is closed. The roof is slated .
