Dreisbach (Siegen)

The Dreisbach is an area of ​​the Siegen district of Niederschelden in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district in North Rhine-Westphalia . The name can be traced back to the Alte Dreisbach mine , which was located in this area and was in operation until 1928. From 1936 the area was developed as a residential area.

The Dreisbach is located in the south of the city of Siegen. Achenbach borders in the north, the center of Niederschelden in the west and Eiserfeld in the south . The area lies between the Rothenberg with 413  m in the west / southwest and the built-up Heidenberg with 315  m in the northeast. The Achenbach flows past there.
