history

Dresdner SpVgg 05

The association was founded in 1905 as Löbtauer Viktoria to differentiate it from Viktoria Dresden . In 1908 the name was changed to Dresdner SpVgg 05. At least from the 1920/21 season, the team played in the game operations of the Central German Championship of the VMBV . Due to 10:18 points and the eighth and last place in the group, the team had to compete in a relegation game against the Sportbrüder Dresden . This ended with a 4-0 win for SpVgg after the third playoff. But then the sports brothers successfully protested. The replay could then be won again, but this time with 2-0.

After the next season , the team landed again in last place. This time it was the relegation game against the Radebeuler BC 08 , which was then won 3-2. Against lay Radebeul but then protest; the replay could then be won 2-0. In the following season they no longer occupied the last position on the table. After the 1925/26 season , the second place at the end of the season even qualified for the second round. After a 0:11 win over SV Budissa Bautzen , this qualifying round ended with a 4: 5 defeat against FC Preussen Chemnitz . After the 1932/33 season, the club was then integrated into the soccer district of Saxony, but it was not able to qualify for the Gauliga Saxony alone in the coming season.

SV Southwest Dresden

After the 1922/23 season, the club rose to the 2nd class of the Gau Ostsachsen . In the first season here, the team placed eighth with 12:24 points. At some point after that, however, the team was relegated. When the league was two-pronged for the 1930/31 season, the club was incorporated into Season A , after this season the team landed 7:29 points in eighth place. At the end of the 1931/32 season, the club was again in eighth place with 11:25 points. After the National Socialists came to power, nothing is known about any further placements of the association .

Game operations in the 1944/45 season

For the 1944/45 season of the Gauliga Sachsen, the two clubs were integrated as a war game community in Season 1 within the Dresden group. Due to the advancing Second World War , KSG's gaming operations were stopped after just three games. After the end of the war, the community and the associations themselves were dissolved.
