Lake Dridza (Latvian: Drīdža ezers or Drīdzis ) is an approx. 7.5 km² large lake in Latvia , in the province of Latgale , around 5 km northeast of Krāslava (German: Kraslau).

With a depth of 65.1 meters, it is the deepest lake in the Baltic countries . There are 9 islands in the lake ( Apšu , Bernātu (13.9 ha), Liepu , Ozolu , Pizānu , Upes and Zemā ) with a total area of ​​18.7 hectares.

The lake belongs to the catchment area of ​​the Daugava . It is located in a chain of lakes that were formed at the end of the last ice age. The protected area is a gathering and nesting place for numerous bird species.
