Driftin 'Blues is a blues standard written by Charles Brown , Johnny Moore and Eddie Williams , recorded in September 1945 and released on a 10 "single by Johnny Moore's Three Blazers that same year . Brown sings on the recording, accompanied by his piano . The title has been covered several times, sometimes completely rearranged and awarded by the Blues Foundation and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame . It is the first song written and sung by Charles Brown.
