Drumin Castle ruins

Drumin Castle is the ruin of a residential tower near the Livet river valley in the Moray administrative district of Scotland . The ruin lies on a chain of hills above the mouth of the Livet in the Avon .

history

In the early 1370s , King Robert II lent the land on which the residential tower stands to his son, Alexander Stewart . In 1490 they fell from the Stewart family to the Gordon family . In the 18th century the tower was abandoned and fell into disrepair.
