Jafar as-Sādiq ibn Amīr Mufaddal Saif ad-Dīn ( Arabic جعفر الصادق مفضل سيف الدين, DMG Ǧaʿfar aṣ-Ṣādiq ibn Amīr Mufaḍḍal Saif ad-Dīn ; further spelling Ja'far us Sadiq bin Amir Mufaddal Saifuddin ) is a Muslim scholar from the family of the highest religious dignitaries of the Tayyibi - Ismaili Dawudi Bohras ( Dawoodi Bohras ), who hold the title of Dāʿī muṭlaq (“absolute Dāʿī ”). He is the grandson of the 52nd Dāʿī muṭlaq Mohammed Burhanuddin (1915-2014) and the eldest son of the 53rd Dāʿī muṭlaq Mufaddal Saifuddin (born 1946).

He is an author and scholar in the fields of Islam, the Ismailis, Fatimids and Dawudi Bohras and also a religious poet.

He studied Arabic literature at Cairo University and graduated from al Jamea tus Saifiyah - the highest educational institution of the Dawudi Bohras - in Surat , India with the title of al Faqih al jayyid ( Masters in Islamic Jurisprudence ). He is also currently doing a master's degree in Arabic literature at the Institute for Arabic Research and Studies of the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science (ALECSO, Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization ) in Cairo .

He teaches at the al Dschamea tus Saifiyah Indian Surat is one of the Senior Fellows of the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought ( Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought ).

During the restoration of five Fatimid mosques in Cairo by Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin, he published various works on the architectural features of each of these mosques ( al-Anwar , al-Aqmar , al-Juyushi , al-Azhar , al-Lulua ), two of them have been translated into English (see photos below).

For his work written in Arabic أدب المناظرة والحجاج في المجالس المؤيدية / abad al-munāẓara wa-l-ḥaǧǧāǧ fī l-maǧālis al-muʾayyadiyya , in which he describes the argumentation style of Mu'ayyad fi d-Din asch-Shirazi in the eight volumes of his Majālis al-Mu'ayyadīya  /المجالس المؤيدية studied, he received a PhD in literature and philosophy from Cairo University in 2013.

He was one of the signatories of the Amman Message ( Amman Message ).
