The Jaish al-Muwahhidin ( Arabic جيش الموحدين, DMG Ǧaiš al-Muwaḥḥidīn ) or Jaish Abu Ibrahim (جيش أبو إبراهيم / Ǧaiš Abū Ibrāhīm ) is a Druze militia in Syria that tries to defend the areas inhabited by Druze. Her name means " army of monotheists ". It was founded in 2013, is headed by Abu Ibrahim Ismail at-Tamimi and has a Syrian- nationalist and anti - colonialist orientation.
The group operates mainly in as-Suwaida , Daraa , Damascus and other regions where Druze live. The leadership of the organization describes the group itself as Muslim, monotheistic and Druze. You operate a defensive jihad . Outsiders describe her as a supporter of Bashar al-Assad . It is based in the Druze Mountains , a mountainous area of the as-Suwaida governorate , and in the area around Hermon near Damascus. The group was founded in 2013 in response to attacks against Druze civilians.
