Jidhafs ( Arabic جد حفص, DMG Ǧidd Ḥafṣ ) is a city in Bahrain . The city is located west of the capital Manama and has 31,735 inhabitants (2005).
Jidhafs was the capital of the administrative area of the same name (municipality), which was dissolved in 2002 and divided between the newly created governorates of asch-Shamaliyya and al-Asima (Manama).
