It has an area of 3.7 million m². Construction should be completed in 2012. The Meydan racecourse opened on March 27, 2010. It is located southwest of Bu Kadra .
history
Early information about this project, initiated by Muhammad bin Raschid Al Maktum , was known in late March 2007. The Meydan City Corporation is dedicated to the implementation and marketing of the project under the direction of CEO Saeed Humaid Al Tayer . The master plan for this project was drawn up by the TAK planning office. It is known from the plan information that the site is divided into a hotel park and other leisure areas. In addition to the road network, numerous waterways are planned for the infrastructure, which are connected to the sea via a canal.
