Gulf News is a media company in the United Arab Emirates , based in Dubai . It is primarily known for the English-language daily newspaper of the same name , which has been published since 1978.
history
The newspaper was founded in 1978 by Abdullah Abulhoul and appeared six times a week with a circulation of 3,000 issues. The company was sold to Al Nisr Publishing LLC in November 1984 .

Al Nisr Publishing's radio stations:
Radio 1 and Radio 2 broadcast their FM radio programs from the studios in Al Wasl (across from Business Bay) in Dubai. These are 24-hour entertainment programs in English:
- 104.1 / 100.5 FM Radio 1: Tonality a bit conservative but relaxed, as it is an older target group, music color: Music from the 80s and 90s, some oldies, but also current music tailored to the target group.
- 99.3 / 106 FM Radio 2: Tonality aimed at a young audience, music color: very R'n'B and hip-hop-oriented, generally mainstream chart music.
Both programs can be received in the Emirates of Dubai , Abu Dhabi , Sharjah and Ajman and reach over 1,300,000 listeners.
