Ducato
Ducato called
- The Italian word for duchy ( Duca = duke). In the Venetian dialect it becomes Dogado , which historically denotes the original domain of the Republic of Venice .
- Ducato is also short for the Fiat Ducato car type .
- The name of the gold coin ducats goes back to the Latin word Ducatus on the first of these coins, which referred to the Duchy of Christ .
