Duck Dodgers is an American animated series that first aired between 2003 and 2005 . The series is based on the Daffy-Duck - cartoon Duck Dodgers in the 24 and 1 / 2th Century (1953) by Chuck Jones .

After 351 icy years in the freezer of a spaceship, the stupid Duck Dodgers wakes up in the vastness of space. Now he's trying to make the best of it and make others believe he's a hero from the 21st century. Therefore, a new spaceship and the faithful assistant Piggy Dick are made available to him so that he can do even more heroic deeds. In this new role he experiences many adventures.
