The Dudhawa Dam is located on the upper reaches of the Mahanadi, 27 km east of the city of Kanker in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh .

The dam was built between 1953 and 1963. The dam consists of a 2907 m long earth embankment. The reservoir covers an area of ​​up to 30 km².

The dam is used to irrigate the agricultural land in the district of Kanker , which is located downstream .
