dudu.com ( Russian дуду ) (formerly godudu.com ) is an online network in seven languages, namely Russian, Arabic, English, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and Chinese. Godudu was launched on April 14, 2011 in Makhachkala , the capital of the Russian republic of Dagestan .
Registered users can create a profile on dudu.com and exchange information with other users. The service includes a chat function and a connection to the Twitter service . According to the operator, there are now around 6 million registered members, mainly in Russia , Ukraine , Turkey and Saudi Arabia . The free offer is very similar to that of other Web 2.0 platforms.
particularities
The main specialty of the service is the announced possibility to chat in several languages. It should be possible to automatically translate short messages in the chat - according to the information provided by the operator, this enables language-barrier-free communication between the registered participants, including in English, Arabic and Russian. As the operator claims, Dudu is the world's first multilingual online network (by which he means the possibility of instant translation, but the technology of which is dubious).
