Dufferin is an underground subway station in Toronto . It is on the Bloor-Danforth Line of the Toronto Subway , at the intersection of Bloor Street and Dufferin Street. The station has side platforms and is used by an average of 28,300 passengers every day (2015).

Nearby is the Dufferin Mall, a large shopping center built on the site of a former horse racing track . There are transfer options to three bus routes. The station opened on February 26, 1966, along with the Keele - Woodbine section . From 2010 to 2014 the station underwent extensive modernization. The project included an artistic design. The work Something Happens Here by Eduardo Aquino and Karen Shanski consists of colorful mosaics that depict various activities in the area in pixel-like resolution. They also make reference to historical events.
