The Dunkerstraße ( Estonian Dunkri tänav ) is a street in the Estonian capital Tallinn ( German  Reval ).

It runs from the Town Hall Square (Estonian: Raekoja plats ) in the east for about 100 meters in a westerly direction to Raderstraße ( Rataskaevu tänav ). At the western end at the confluence with Raderstraße there is a small square on which the Radbrunnen is located. The Hotel St. Petersbourg is in a corner at the northwestern end . There are several restaurants along the street.

During the reign of the order, the Revaler Stadtmünzhaus was located in Nikolaistraße ( Niguliste tänav ) to the south, and its property extended to Dunkerstraße. This gave rise to the old street name of Dunkerstrasse Street behind the coin . The current name Dunkerstraße is said to go back to the cook Hans Dunker, who lived in house number 4 on the street in the 15th century and worked for the Reval magistrate . Historically, craftsmen and especially goldsmiths were based in Dunkerstrasse .

The houses in Dunkerstraße 6 and 9 each date back to the 15th century and are registered as monuments .
