The Duo Deluxe is a North German pop - duo from Oldenburg .
history
In 2019 the musical formation was founded by Gabi Bares (bourgeois Ina Schröder ) and Pierre Mertien (bourgeois Ralf Krüger ). Gabi Bares grew up in a musical family that is characterized by many years of stage experience. In 1988 she got her first record deal with her music project ZSA ZSA. In the spring of 1996 she founded the group Superstrip , which landed a top 10 hit in Spain with the title Dolce Vita .
Pierre Mertien released his first album Only for You in 1999 . He later published a few more titles, but they never received much attention. In 2015 he had his breakthrough with his music group The Domingos, which disbanded in 2017. In total, the duo released six albums.
Gabi Bares and Pierre Mertien released their debut album Sieben Wunder in September 2019 on the Austrian music label MCP Records .
