Duqm

Duqm ( Arabic الدقم, DMG ad-Duqm ) is a port city in Oman in the governorate of al-Wusta on the Arabian Sea .

Originally, Duqm was a small fishing settlement ; Today the city is an oil port and is to be expanded into a tourist location , which is why an international airport was built, which went into operation in 2014 as Duqm Jaaluni Airport .

Planning

Oman's only dry dock is to be built in the port.

The city is to receive a railway connection with the Shuwaymiyah / Manji – Duqm railway line.
