The Duvenbeck Group is a logistics company based in Bocholt , North Rhine-Westphalia.

Duvenbeck has more than 1,650 of its own trucks , which are mainly used for the automotive and plastics industries as well as the agricultural vehicle industry. The company has 34 locations in 8 countries and employs more than 6500 people. It sees itself as a full-service logistics provider and is active in the areas of conception, forwarding and contract logistics and also offers cross-docking , sequencing and trailer yards.

history

The company goes back to Bernhard Duvenbeck, who founded a moving goods company in Bocholt in 1932 and operated it with a team of horses.

In 1992, Thomas Duvenbeck took over management of the company at the age of 26; at that time 50 people were employed and about two dozen trucks were in operation. By 2002 the company had grown to 375 employees, mainly due to an increase in orders from the automotive sector.

In 2012, the new company headquarters - for the first time in its own building - was inaugurated in Bocholt. In 2013 the group's 32nd location was opened in Cristian , Romania.
