Cristian ( German  Neustadt , Hungarian Keresztényfalva ) is a municipality in the Brașov district in Transylvania , Romania .

In 2009 there were still 105 members of the evangelical community ( Transylvanian Saxony ).

location

Cristian is located in Burzenland on the way between the district capital Brașov ( Kronstadt ) and Bran ( Törzburg ), about ten kilometers southwest of Brașov.
