Dvora Kedar
Dvora Kedar (* 1924 in Lithuania ) is an Israeli actress .
Life
Kedar came to the British Mandate of Palestine in 1925 . Since 1964 she appeared occasionally in film and television productions. She was last seen in Fire Birds in 2015 . She is known for her role as Benny's mother in the film series Eis am Stiel , in which she was seen in seven parts from 1978.
Kedar also worked as a stage actress, most recently at the Habima National Theater .
During her career she has won a number of awards, including Tel Aviv City Favorite . In 2012 she was awarded the Israeli Theater Prize for her life's work. The Bar-Ilan University awarded Kedar in 2017 for her performance and contribution to Israeli culture, the honorary doctorate .
