Dylan Thomas Prize
The Swansea University International Dylan Thomas Prize is a British literary prize that has been awarded to young authors since 2006. The £ 30,000 prize was originally biennial and has been awarded annually since 2010. Authors under 40 years of age are honored for published literary works in English. The award is funded by Swansea University and awarded by a jury based on submissions from authors, agents and publishers. His name recalls the poet Dylan Thomas, who was born in Swansea , Wales .
